This is a modern merging of contemporary and traditional styles.  The open leg-base harmonizes with the breathing shapes of the table top;  the split legs cross and connect with each other on the floor and are reflected in the in-laid propeller veneer pattern on the table surface.  Commune’s shapes, sizes and stationary or expansion configurations are malleable and customizable to address the endlessly varied dining situations.

Our Harvest Table features 100% solid wood construction fastidiously selected and constructed by the highly accomplished and skilled Amish makers of Lancaster, PA.  The remarkably comfortable seat of the bench is made of two pieces angled to conform and support the body during lengthy meals or company meetings.  We’ve used our Harvest Table and Benches for our conference Table for 20 years.     

 

An homage to the Japanese notions of quality, austerity refinement and purpose, the Book Table is the epitome of all these values .  Deceptively quiet yet has a big presence.  It's a stand out in a room.  Our polished concrete top adds a contemporary ambiance and contributes to the bold materiality of the overall form.
